Summertime desserts

We are enjoying the long days of summer, the warm breezes and delicious food.

With Chef Alaun’s creativity, diners seem to always save a little room for dessert.

A current favorite on the dessert menu is the Tarte aux Framboises.

It is all quite divine with crème pâtissière and mascarpone chantilly.

Rounding things up and true to French form, is a delicious cheese plate.

This plate, accented with Roquefort blue cheese, fig jam, candied walnuts and crostini is the perfect ending to your meal.

Terrace Lunch favorites

Our diners are thoroughly enjoying our Wednesday Terrace lunches.

This long-time Club tradition comes each Summer.  The weather is lovely, the breezes are fresh and the food is delicious.

Chef Alaun is doing a fresh and changing menu every week, so you always have delicious options to choose from, all for a very reasonable price.

Here are a few favorites from this week to tempt your taste buds…

Sweet Carrot Soup

Chef Alaun is accenting ours with Crème Fraiche and pickled currants.

A favorite main course was the Crêpe au Jambon.

Chef created this crepe with ham, gruyere & emmental cheese and gave it a pop of color with a butter lettuce salad.

Rounding things up, is our Summer Berries Dessert.

It is accented with an almond crumble and basil ice cream.  It is just beautifully done.

We have options for 2-courses for $20 or 3-courses for $26.

Beverages, tax & gratuity are additional and the price is not applicable to the member discount.

Delicious summer items

Summer is almost officially in full gear.

We are thrilled over the fresh, seasonal options to share with our diners.

Mouth-watering corn is certainly a staple of Summer.

Chef Alaun is using local corn in a satisfying soup starter accented with crème fraiche, lime and baby cilantro.

Next up, is a local halibut accented with summer squash, corn and spring onions.

Our diners think it is perfectly satisfying and delicious.

Rounding things out is our risotto.  Diners love any version of risotto that Chef creates and this one for summer is no exception.

Summer is calling

Memorial Day kicks off Summer and we can’t wait for the goodness on the menu.

We have a feeling some succulent heirloom tomatoes will make their debut.
