Dessert favorites

Chef Alaun has some amazing desserts being featured at Julia’s.  Let’s take a peek.

First off, the Fromage du Jour, paired with a sweet jam and a warm baguette.

This choice is perfectly French and lovely for those that desire something a little different and not overly sweet.

Cheese types rotate frequently, but rest assured, Chef has amazing taste and a notable creative flair, so you will end your meal on a delicious note.

Next up is our Orange Polenta Cake

Kumquat

This wonderful cake uses poached kumquats and has a side of brown butter ice cream.  Cue the mouth watering my friends.  This one is a must try.

For our chocolate lovers, you can’t go wrong with the Chocolate Pot de Créme.

It is accented with an almond crumble and lavender chantilly.  Perfection.

Summertime desserts

We are enjoying the long days of summer, the warm breezes and delicious food.

With Chef Alaun’s creativity, diners seem to always save a little room for dessert.

A current favorite on the dessert menu is the Tarte aux Framboises.

It is all quite divine with crème pâtissière and mascarpone chantilly.

Rounding things up and true to French form, is a delicious cheese plate.

This plate, accented with Roquefort blue cheese, fig jam, candied walnuts and crostini is the perfect ending to your meal.

Decadent desserts

Our diners are swooning over the delicious options on the dessert menu.

Chef Alaun has a bounty of colors for the eyes to enjoy and the mouth to savor.

We love spring and summer for strawberries.

They shine in our strawberries “mi cuit” accented with vanilla mascarpone chantilly.

With citrus always a refreshing choice to end a meal, we have lemon and kumquat for the taking.

The lemon is used in our lemon walnut cake with a divine lemon cream and the kumquat is used in our marmalade cake and accented with orange and cardamom ice cream.

All of our desserts are plated beautifully and divine for sharing.

Delightful desserts

Our diners love our desserts – flavorful with mouth-watering textures and undeniable beauty.

This is our chocolate ganache bar and it is truly a favorite.

It is rich and wonderful.  We love the tiny pop of color with the bit of lavender.

We also seem to love any cake that adorns the menu.

This pear cake is no exception.
